I wasn't looking for a spiritual book or a book on psychic abilities. I was looking at the reviews on a book called " Heal your drained brain" and as is my practice, I downloaded a sample before buying it. When I opened my kindle app to read the sample, I found this book had downloaded and not as a sample but as a purchase. I was absolutely shaken because I didn't know where it came from and how I could have clicked on it and bought it without being aware of it. I mostly buy personal development or business or management type books. This type of book is so far out of my field of interest that I could not believe it. All that said, I did lose my mother suddenly last April and have been struggling with my grief every day since then. So I started reading and as I finished chapter after chapter, I started feeling a sense of peace. I still don't know how I happened to order this book without any conscious knowledge of it but I know now that it was just the book I needed to read right now. May be my intuition received a message that I can't heal my drained brain until I heal my soul.

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this book! I wanted to wait until I finished it to do a review. I can't. It's that good. I am 1/2 way through and it has not disappointed!! When I took it out of the package and held it in my hands, I literally could feel the energy, the magic. The illustration on the front and back cover comforted me. It reminded me of what I saw when I had my NDE at the age of 15. It really hit home. When I started to read the praise for Bridging Two Realms, the tears started to flow and by the last one I was sobbing. I knew, I could feel, that this book would explain everything, it would bring it all together. And not just for me, but for so many others who have questions and want to communicate with loved ones who have passed over. If you, or someone you know, have lost a loved one, this is your book to answer your questions and to help you communicate with them. John Holland is the real deal.Updated 3/7/18:I just feel the need to share this. Since starting this book I have had so many signs, things that cannot be explained away. I am still in awe over it. I feel like John Holland is my personal medium! I have followed him for many years through appearances,a small group reading, and a course about tapping into intuition! I truly believe that our loved ones can and do communicate with us from the after life! I cried a lot reading each story of love because we all want to believe that when we leave this earthly life it’s not the end of our existence! I don’t know about you but that comforts me!I absolutely love this book and I don’t want to finish reading it too quickly because I don’t like endings! After my brother passed from ALS, my Mom was having a very difficult time through her grief. I have read Johns books before and thought this was perfect timing. I ordered it for my Mother, hoping that this would help her in her grieving process and offer some peace. When I received the book, I read thru a lot of the content, to be sure it was going to be what I thought. I found it comforting, informative and easy to read. I gave it to my Mom, it took a little while before she picked it up to begin reading. After a few weeks, I noticed her more relaxed and for the first time we were able to get through a conversation without her crying and being swallowed up by her pain. She said the book was very eye opening and she felt that she could begin to move forward knowing he, my brother, even though gone on, was still in her life. I can see that she becomes more consoled and is more at peace with her feelings and understanding. She is more open to receiving his messages and signs. I think it has helped immensely!

It is easy to feel the love and care that went into the writing of this book, and interesting to learn about what it takes to be an ethical medium. Bridging Two Realms is filled with stories and examples from John's vast experience as a medium and teacher. There is hope that we can all attain a greater awareness of the presence of our loved ones that have crossed over. At the very least, you will feel more confidant that the "other side" exists and that it is a place of peace and love.
